Principles before protocols

Why clarity, minimal data, and failure handling belong at the beginning of trust infrastructure design.

Start with the problem

Every trust checkpoint should exist to support a specific decision, not to add ceremony or create a new data collection funnel.

Design the failure path

Expired results, interrupted sessions, inaccessible methods, and uncertain outcomes are ordinary product states. They need deliberate interfaces and server policies.

Publish the limits

A legitimate trust system should describe what a signal means and what it does not prove. Confidence is earned through clear boundaries and measured behavior.
